Lupe Fiasco said it best in his song entitled Pressure off of his debut album Food & Liquor. the Exact Lyric was "they said Oil and Water don't Mix, now they all down at the beach Washing off the fish." That was in reference to the Exxon Valdez Spill in Alaska in 1989. Todays Oil Spill is much worse that then. I am currently doing my research so that i can discuss the oil spill, so I do apologize for not having frequent updates but a real update is coming soon.

Oil Spill

I know it has been some time since i have updated my blog, though it is fairly new. The Oil spill is a blog work in progress for me at this point which is why i havent really touched on it at this point, but soon i will have something for you. what i may do is break down the Oil spill in parts for you just to give you my perspective on what it going on down in the Gulf.

Intro

The purpose of my blog is to take a look at events that go on in our nation as well as abroad, and tie them into global politics from a real life perspective. Dont get me wrong when something in our world happens is it real life but I dont want to look at it from all of the different perspectives out there, you CNN's and MSNBC's or Fox news broadcast, those are rehearsed, and read from a TelePrompTer, my blog is real and its unbiased. The goal, again, of my blog is to look at the events of the nation and abroad, i will show how each event that happens is somehow connected from Continent to Continent, state to state, and even city to city. In my opinion it is time for people to start understanding that its not just America anymore, this world is so globally connected and intertwined, that if President Obama spent 2 dollars on a snicker bar right now, 30 nations are in line to get a cut of that money. Everything works together "now" and its time for us to realize that and take this on, otherwise we could no longer remain a super power. Stay Tuned
